At Lawshield we recognise that our brokers require a wide range of products and services which can provide support in multiple areas including that of claims handling. For brokers with binder facilities, there is a genuine concern with outsourcing all or part of that obligation.

We are Lloyds Cover holders an act as an approved TPA for many insurers including Aviva, AXA, Chubb, Zurich, RSA, Amlin, Arch, CNA Hardy, and many others.

We have a large, multi-disciplinary claims team including experienced insurance claims handlers, legal professionals, data analysts, digital programmers, IT professionals, accountants, and compliance officers.

We provide coverage across the whole of the UK and Eire and can provide a bespoke full-cycle service which can include FNOL, damage fulfilment, intervention, defence of claims, uninsured loss recovery and fund management. We can facilitate product sales and support claims handling within the same contract as a tailored package and ensure you are able to cut down on administrative cost of dealing with multiple providers. We're also able to assist with runoff lines of business and provide additional resource as a contingency in times of surge.

Systems and delivery


Once a claim is active, we utilise Touchpoint, a self-service portal, when there is a need to share key information during the process of managing a claim. This allows the policyholder and or insurer to track claims at their convenience, 24/7 without having to pick up the telephone.


We have a seamless integration program with Acturis for Motor Legal expenses insurance, this allows the product to be added to an Acturis account making it easy to add to motor policy sales. The documentation is embedded in the documentation suit and can be added to any communication being sent to a customer. Accounting is fully automated, with a bordereau itemising all the policy sales for the previous month, allowing for quick and easy reconciliation and payment.
